The Job

We are currently recruiting for an entry-level Financial Administrator to join a growing finance team. The role is set up to be a growth position and this person will be working with very experienced corporate accounting professionals. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply!


What you will be doing as a Financial Administrator:

  • Collaborate with other departments and operations to fully analyze and support strategic and business objectives
  • Correspond with customers via email or phone validating customer data; request for information and collections.
  • Create charts and graphs, using computer spreadsheets, to illustrate technical reports
  • Inform decisions by analyzing financial information and monitoring developments
  • Interpret data on trends, influences, and other factors affecting financials
  • Help with new projects, report results to Senior Leadership
  • Help with conducting reports to address business concerns and identify trends
  • Process reports on financial business units and help conduct reports
  • Handle some light accounting functions for taxes and standard costs

Our Ideal Financial Administrator Candidate has:

  • Office software acumen - comfortable with a wide variety of software including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Google applications, and relevant databases
  • Mathematical reasoning - facility with numbers, the proven ability to calculate, post and manage figures and records, and the ability to choose the right mathematical methods to solve a problem
  • Economics and accounting expertise - knowledge of and interest in economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Communication - express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization
  • Organizing and planning - develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner
  • Analytical thinking - determine the essential function of each task in a detailed, goal-driven manner with strong multitasking abilities

Requirements to be a Financial Administrator:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Accounting, Finance, Economics concentrations or related quantitative skills
